Undergraduate student scholarships
Of particular interest to new BDent students should be the Scholarships for Graduate Entry Students available to students applying for entry to Graduate entry Programs. See www.usyd.edu.au/scholarships/ for more information and to download application form. Applications are typically called for in November/December of the year preceding enrolment for successful applicants to the BDent program.
BDent students are also eligible for scholarships which are awarded based on equity and merit. The scholarships are available to first year students and are typically called for early in the first year of enrolment. See www.usyd.edu.au/scholarships for details.
Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) students are eligible to apply for a University of Sydney Scholarship, awarded to applicants who satisfy all admissions criteria to the BOH program and achieve a UAI of 90 or above. Applications are typically called for in the year prior to intended enrolment. Applications for the 2006 round have closed. Information is available form http://www.usyd.edu.au/scholarships/.
The Sydney Access Scheme is designed to assist students who have been disadvantaged in some way, such as financial disadvantage, disability or moving from a country/rural area to study at the University of Sydney. Further details visit www.usyd.edu.au/scholarships.
Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarships are also available to help students from rural and remote areas with general education and accomodation costs.
Postgraduate student scholarships
