About Tania
Tania is a Senior Lecturer in the Facutly of Dentistry at the University of Sydney and is the Sub Dean (Clinical Affairs-Sydney Dental Hospital). She has completed dental training (BDS) and Master’s training (MDS) at the Faculty with Professor George Wing. In 1985, she completed a PhD in biocompatibility and bioavailability of components of dental materials with Professor Rory Hume at the University of Sydney completing the degree during a year as a Research and Teaching Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. She has also completed a clinical fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgery (FRACDS) and an educational degree with the Institute for Teaching and Learning at the University of Sydney. She recently returned from a Special Studies Leave (sabbatical) at the University of Toronto working in both the Faculties of Dentistry and Medicine as a Visiting Professor.
