Philippe Zimet is in private practice in Dandenong, Victoria. Current positions include consultant endodontist to Monash Medical Centre, as well as teaching appointments at the University of Melbourne School of Dental Science and Monash University Medical School. Philippe is the Immediate Past President of the Australian Society of Endodontology Inc. and President of the Asian Pacific Endondontic Confederation. He also served as chairman and on many other committees in dentistry and community based organisations, and has also been admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, the International College of Dentists and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
