Barbara has been in specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice for over fifteen years and has been a consultant at Royal Brisbane Hospital for nearly ten years. She is closely involved locally with both undergraduate and post-graduate teaching, and regularly presents in the University of Queensland's Continuing Education Program. She is a frequent national lecturer involved in the education programs for the second part and special stream fellowships of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
