Peter obtained his Diploma in Dentistry, Athens in 1983 and completed postgraduate studies at the University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg in 1994 (MSc Dent) and 1998 MDent (OMFS). He became an Advanced Trauma Life Support instructor in 1997 and obtained his Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate in 2003. Peter migrated to Australia in January 2004. He holds a VDO post at SDH and has a private practice in Randwick. He has obtained specialist OMFS title in Greece, NSW Australia and England.
