Chris Peck is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Sydney. He has completed his dental training and a Masters in occlusion and a graduate Diploma in Pain Management at Sydney University and completed a PhD with Professor Alan Hannam at The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. His PhD work focussed on the relationships between jaw structure and function, and he investigated loading patterns in the tmj, the role of ligaments in controlling jaw movement and the complex interaction of jaw muscles that produce jaw function.
Prior to returning to Sydney last September, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia. Here he directs, with Iven Klineberg, the University's Orofacial Pain Clinic and is involved in pain and jaw function research
