Braham Pearlman graduated from University of Sydney with a BDS in 1960, and MScD with Certificate in Periodontics from Boston University (USA) in 1969. He lectured in Periodontology at the London Dental Hospital (London University) from 1969 to 1973.
On return to Australia in 1974, he began a Periodontal Specialist practice in Sydney, and later Newcastle, till present. He was Head of the Periodontics Unit, Westmead Hospital from 1990 to 2000, obtained a Fellowship RACDS (Periodontics) in 1991, and Diploma of Clinical Dentistry, Sydney University (Conscious Sedation) in 1993. Presently, he’s an Adjunct Associate Professor SU Faculty of Dentistry, Registrar RACDS and Registrar Australasian Section of International College of Dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Pierre Fauchard and the Academy of Dentistry International.
