Michael is a Prosthodontist and runs a specialist private practice in Sydney CBD. Michael was Associate Professor in charge of Fixed Prosthodontics, Department of Restorative Dentistry, University of Sydney teaching both undergraduate and graduate students and assisted in the formation of the MDSc program in Prosthodontics.

He was also Chairman and Director of Continuing Education in Dentistry and is currently a committee member. He has close association with Indiana School of Dentistry USA.
