Saso Ivanovski is a registered specialist in periodontics. He obtained his PhD in 2000 and his MDSc in periodontology in 2002 from the University of Queensland. He has recently been appointed as the inaugural Professor of Periodontology at Griffith University. His research interests are the biology of periodontal regeneration and osseointegration.

Saso lectures extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand the UK and USA with a particular emphasis on the high standards of periodontal maintenance required post implant placement. Saso maintains a private practice in Brisbane restricted to Periodontics and implant surgery.
