This course is specifically structured to introduce the clinician to osseointegrated implant therapy

Overview

On completion of the course, the participant will be familiar with the components and techniques necessary to complete the surgical and restorative stages of implant cases. The course involves a combination of lectures, demonstrations and hands-on workshops utilising the complete range of hand and mechanical instrumentation to install implants and their subsequent prosthodontic management.

It will give both the surgical and restorative clinician an insight into the requirements and difficulties in each field. This better understanding serves to promote improved coordination between the various team members leading to a more predictable clinical outcome.

This course provides the ideal foundation for further implant training and is a pre-requisite for the Implant Prosthodontics Workshop in September 2006.
