OVERVIEW
Participants are required to bring four extracted furcal teeth accessed for endodontic instrumentation as well as safety glasses/loupes. All other materials will be provided.
This course is designed to acquaint the operator with the use of the Mtwo rotary system for endodontic preparation. Unlike many other rotary NiTi preparation systems the Mtwo system uses only four instruments which are all designed to be placed to working length. This greatly simplifies endodontic preparation in the majority of canal systems, be they curved or straight. Filling the resulting canal preparations is carried out using a condensation technique utilising a heat source for both vertical and lateral condensation.
As with any endodontic procedure the cornerstone to success is good access which cannot be neglected. The use of the operating microscope to assist in this essential component of endodontic therapy will be demonstrated.
