Overview
Rotary nickel-titanium instruments have revolutionised the way root canals are prepared. When incorporated into the “crown-down” technique these instruments enable dentists to thoroughly clean and predictably prepare root canals. The technique offers improved success, patient comfort and less operator fatigue. Combined with the latest obturation techniques rotary canal preparation is “state-of-the-art” endodontic practice.
This course will offer first time users and those who have recently commenced using rotary instruments the knowledge and experience required to start treating patients but also provide more experienced dentists with the information and clinical tips necessary to treat more challenging cases.
The day will focus on practical hands-on learning with several current rotary Ni-Ti systems available for the purpose of comparison. Each of the major Ni-Ti systems will be demonstrated and available for use by participants.
