Overview
This 1 day seminar looks at dental trauma focusing on diagnosis, incidence, emergency care as well as endodontic implications. The afternoon is a practical workshop with the opportunity to understand, design and construct the latest designs in pressure laminated mouthguards.
Afternoon Workshop
Practical mouthguard session, focusing on pressure lamination construction.
Each participant may bring one maxillary model of a mouthguard case, poured up in hard stone and trimmed so there is no labial undercut, occlusal surface parallel to the base and the vestibular extension of the sulcus from the impression clearly visible. Correctly trimmed maxillary models will be provided for the afternoon workshop.
After this workshop you will have the skills and knowledge to make your own mouthguards or communicate the appropriate information to your Dental Technician.
