Overview
This comprehensive course with a clinical workshop, will take participants on the complete journey that a patient with oral cancer faces: from their initial diagnosis, to the rigours of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, to the hopeful day they are told they are cured.

Presenters, who are experts in their fields, will discuss each management stage: assessment & investigation of suspicious oral lesions, diagnosis of oral cancer, philosophy of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and postoperative dental management of these patients.

On completion of this course, participants will be familiar with each significant management stage of oral cancer.

The importance of oral cancer screening, knowledge and ability to conduct a thorough oral soft tissue examination will be emphasized.

Encourage regular dental checks to be valued as "cleaning and screening" by dental personnel and patients
