Understanding occlusion, diagnosis and treatment planning for the dentist who cares

Overview

The proper recording and diagnosis of occlusal amd tempero-mandibular joint problems is essential to the understandng and treatment of theor clinical situation. In this course you will learn how to accurately mount casts, record centric relation using a leaf gauge, and how to analyse the occlusion.

The techniques of differential diagnosis and TMJ problems will be taught as well as as splint therapy using anterior splints and pivotal appliances.

Physiotherapy technology will be shown to you, which will greatly improve your success in treating facial pain.

The course will be both lectures and clinical hands-on so you really get a feel for what you're doing.

This course provides the basics for treatment of complex rehabilitation. It will give you confidence to start on the road to helping more patients.
